Eakes Office Solutions announced today a significant leadership transition as part of its long-term succession plan. Effective September 29, 2026, Paul McKinney has been named President and CEO and will assume responsibility for leading all day-to-day operations of the company.

The announcement was made by current President and CEO Mark Miller, who shared the news with employees earlier this month. Miller, who has led the company for more than 25 years, will continue as Chairman of the Board and remain actively involved in the business.

“This change is being made with great care and intention,” said Mark Miller, President and CEO. “For years, we have been developing Paul and a strong leadership team to guide Eakes into the future. We are confident our success will continue under Paul’s direction.”

McKinney began his career with Eakes in 1997 as a part-time computer sales department assistant in the company’s Kearney, Nebraska location. In 1999, he moved into Eakes’ Shared Services division as Corporate Service Manager. Over the years, he has taken on increasing responsibilities, including roles as Operations Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and most recently, COO/CFO.

“For 28 years, I've had the privilege of growing alongside this company. My journey here has given me a deep appreciation for our roots and a clear vision of where we need to go. I am incredibly honored and ready to lead this next chapter. We're an 80-year-old company built on the strength of its employees, and I know that together, our best years are still ahead of us." said Paul Mckinney, COO/CFO.

“I’ve grown to love this company, its people, and its values,” said Mark Miller, President and CEO. “With Paul’s vision, leadership, and deep knowledge of our business, I’m confident Eakes will continue to thrive and grow.”
