Kearney SportsPlex

The Kearney Sportsplex project was centered on outfitting a community hub designed to host daily activities and major weekend tournaments. The primary focus for the furniture solutions was balancing durability with maximum flexibility.

To achieve this, we partnered with a strong mix of manufacturers, including Steelcase, HON, OFS, Global, AMQ, and Carolina. Durability was the key driver for every selection, as the furniture needed to maintain its look and function despite high traffic from athletes and spectators year-round. These trusted vendors allowed us to build a high-quality, and long-lasting environment.

HON Abound cubicles and Concinnity desking were installed to allow for future reorganization. Along spectator corridors, we used Global pedestal seating alongside flexible HON Flock and Steelcase Circa lounge seating, paired with OFS Mobile Power Charging Stations for easy team huddles and waiting. The public sitting area was equipped with reconfigurable HON Tangram tables for easy movement. Finally, the conference room utilized flip/nest tables and nesting chairs and Steelcase Flex Wall Rail whiteboards, along with secure lockers for tournament officials.

The colors and textures chosen for the furniture were specifically coordinated to tie into the Sportsplex’s logo and overall brand concept. This careful execution resulted in a professional and highly operational facility.
