Lutz
Eakes collaborated with Lutz in Lincoln, NE to successfully integrate new furniture into their recent addition that would match the existing space.
To maintain a unified look across the entire office, we anchored the design around the client’s existing manufacturer, Steelcase. We also strategically integrated high-quality, cost-saving products from AMQ and Dekko.
The final product mix included Steelcase Answer Panels, Universal Storage and Worksurfaces, and Leap Chairs, complemented by Sarto Screens. For sit-stand options, we used AMQ 2.0 Activ HAD bases, and Dekko power solutions were chosen to reduce overall project costs without sacrificing quality or functionality.
A challenge emerged when we needed to get electricity to a row of desks placed in front of a big group of windows. The creative solution was to use the lowest possible height Steelcase Answer panel system for that row of desks. We then ran the power by connecting the panels to the walls at both ends of the row. This design choice got the power and necessary connections to the desks while making sure the view out the windows wasn't blocked. This kept the natural light and the view for the employees.
By successfully combining Steelcase components with AMQ and Dekko products, we were able to provide the exact setup they had envisioned at a cost savings.
