Platte Valley Bank

The Platte Valley Bank project focused on creating a modern, welcoming environment that supports both employee productivity and a positive visitor experience. In collaboration with the A&D firm Clark & Enersen, Eakes helped bring the vision for the new space to life through thoughtful furniture selection and cohesive design integration.

A range of manufacturers was utilized, including Steelcase, OFS, Integra, Bernhardt Stylex, and Sit-On-It, with Steelcase serving as the primary furniture solution throughout the space. This approach ensured consistency in design while delivering durability, flexibility, and a clean, contemporary aesthetic aligned with the overall project goals.

Key product selections included Steelcase Answer workstations for open office areas, creating efficient and organized spaces that support both collaboration and individual focus. Private offices were furnished with Steelcase Ology solutions, providing ergonomic support and a refined, professional look. In mothers’ rooms and breakrooms, soft seating from Sit-On-It and OFS was incorporated to enhance comfort and promote employee wellness. Every piece was intentionally selected to complement the space in both style and function.

A standout element of the project was the customization of fabrics and finishes across departments. Each team played a role in selecting colors for their area, resulting in vibrant, distinct environments that reinforce department identity while improving wayfinding for employees and visitors. This thoughtful approach added both visual interest and functionality to the overall design.

Following months of careful planning, design, and installation coordination, Eakes successfully brought the vision to life, creating a finished space that reflects the original goals while delivering a meaningful, lasting impact on the people who use it every day.
